tapes, CDs, sheet music)
as: ‘Copyright © (your name)’.
If you plan to have your song listened to
while the REGISTER OF COPYRIGHTS is processing your PA form, you could:
Mail the ITEMS TO BE COPYRIGHTED to
yourself!
IMPORTANT!!!!
- SEND THE ENVELOPE REGISTERED MAIL SO YOU HAVE
A DATED RECEIPT.
- DO NOT OPEN THE ENVELOPE WHEN YOU RECEIVE IT!
- MARK THE ‘TITLE’ OF THE SONG(S) ON
THE OUTSIDE OF THE ENVELOPE BEFORE MAILING IT TO YOURSELF.
- STORE THE ENVELOPE IN A SAFE PLACE.
- Mailing songs to yourself is NOT required,
just a suggestion for those who want extra added protection during processing of the PA
form.
