TAKAMINE EF451DLX

This EF451DLX model is a black version of the 450, from the specialty shop series. It features a NEX Grand Auditorium body shape, solid rosewood back and sides, TLD preamp, abalone vine inlay, ebony fretboard, solid AAA spruce top. Because of the solid rosewood sides it doesn't have an external preamp, but has the Takamine Line Driver (TLD)system that is incorporated into the bluegrass models. The TLD is the most basic preamp system you could ever want, it buffers the pickup from the rest of your amplification set up and makes the signal ready to be processed for external gear, there are no controls on the guitar, and no holes and a minimum amount of wiring.
