These new snares by DW/Pacific really have a great sound, of course (what else would you expect from them), but they also won't break your bank account. Don't be fooled, these are some of the same shells used in their higher end DW snares. This SX 5.5 X 14 snare drum in Satin Natural is the same as the regular models, but with wood hoops and tube lugs for a more "retro" look and sound. It features a 10-ply maple shell, PDP hardware w/ True Pitch tuning in chrome, Pro Style throw off, single ply PDP heads, and it all comes to you NEW, W/ WARRANTY IN THE BOX!!
