The patented V-neck is a unique integration of wood, aluminum, and ebonol, (a non-wearing recycled material). The heart of the new v-neck, is the double "T" rail extrusion that begins at the V- shaped headstock and runs the entire length of the fingerboard to the 22nd fret. The extrusion is fully encased between flame maple and the fast playing Ebonol fretboard. This process maintains the wood feel of a standard wood neck without any exposed aluminum. The V-neck is also fully adjustable and ensures stability over and above the performance of conventional wood necks. The combining of these three elements produces unique tone characteristics and playability with a guarantee for life, not to warp or twist. The new V-neck is significantly lighter than any of the aluminum designs of the past.
