This chord dictionary is a small sample of what is included on the eMedia Guitar Method 1 & 2 CD-ROMs. Each title features 85 step-by-step lessons supported by 30+ videos and 50+ great songs (Clapton, Steve Miller, Dylan, Heart, Hendrix) in various music styles. Both CD-ROMs also include an built-in automatic tuner, metronome, recorder and chord dictionary with playback. The chord dictionary for Guitar Method 2 has been expanded to include over 900 chords, with each chord being shown in 3 positions on the guitar neck with playback for all chords!

Directions: click the "start" button once and wait for the chord window to appear. You can choose chords to display from the popup menu at the top of the chord picture.

You can take full advantage of this chord dictionary by using the 'clone' option to display more chords on the screen, resizing the windows to make them fit nicely, and then surfing over to a website which has guitar songs available on it. Try the 'clone' option to display more chords and resize the windows to make as many fit as you want. Sound recordings of all 250+ chords are available so that you can hear if you are playing a chord the right way! Try clicking the chord picture for an alternate way of hearing the chord sounds.
