 For the advanced student, Buffet Crampon designed the E-13 based on
the R-13 bore design. The 14.64mm polycylindrical bore with undercut tone holes allows the
student all the feeling and response that they would expect from a pro level instrument.
Less resistant because of the design of the bore, the E-13 prepares the student for a
professional instrument in the future. The E-13 is made of grenadilla wood and comes with
a 65mm barrel. Pivot screws with nylon locks are featured to avoid excessive play between
keys and an adjustable thumb rest is added for comfort in playing. Also standard is a
carry-all case that has a section to keep sheet music.
 The E-12 was designed to answer the needs of young players and
improve their performance. Made of selected grenadilla wood, the E-12 contains all the
acoustic properties that one would expect in a step-up instrument. The E-12 has an
adjustable thumb rest to promote good hand positioning. Standard is a vinyl covered deluxe
wood shell case.
 To prepare the young player for the professional career they will
have tomorrow, Buffet Crampon designers created the E-11. Made of grenadilla wood, the
E-11 has a 14.65mm polycylindrical bore and undercut tone holes to give the player all the
tools he will need when he moves to a pro instrument. The Bb model of this clarinet comes
in a vinyl covered deluxe wood shell case, while the A model comes in a sturdy plastic
pochette case. In addition, the E-11 has an adjustable thumb rest for optimum comfort.
