The Michael Kelly Guitar Co. was started in 1999 in Clearwater Florida. They started by just selling Mandolins, and Acoustic-Electric, but eventually expanded to a full-line company adding Electric and Acoustic guitars including the popular Patriot Series of Electrics, and Nostalgia Series of Acoustics. The company is now a division of the Hanser Music Group. Michael Kelly has recently added Country Music artist Blake Shelton to their artist roster, and developed his own signature model electric guitar. Our best selling MK models include the Hybrid series, the Patriot line (of course), and their Acoustic basses and mandolins. The Dragonfly mandos and basses in particular have sold very well, due to their exceptional value and unique look.
